We have once again been very fortunate to source five more DAF XF Space Cab 6×2 tractors to enlarge our fleet. These tractors, although ’61’ registered, have only 100K kms recorded and are as new.
They are equipped, in keeping with the rest of the fleet, with 460hp engines and AS-Tronic gearboxes.
Third Iveco Stralis enters fleet – in disguise!
A third new Iveco Stralis Hi-Way has entered the fleet – in the livery of our esteemed client Dalessi International Transport of the Netherlands. Pictured at the Lydden Hill Truck Festival near Dover, she had pride of place on the Haynes Trucks / Iveco stand.
IVECO Hi-WAY v MERCEDES ACTROS!
As part of our general evaluation of other marques, a second Iveco Stralis Hi-Way and a third Mercedes Actros Gigaspace and joined the fleet to battle it out in the fuel stakes. Early indications show DAF XF, Renault Range T, Mercedes Actros and Iveco Stralis all extremely fuel efficient at Euro 6.
MORE FLEET ADDITIONS………..
We recently added three more ’60’ reg DAF XF’s to our General Fleet – these trucks were purchased in ‘as new’ condition, having covered only 107-110000 kms. They further strengthen the DAF marque on our fleet and have allowed us to return rental vehicles. The fleet is now entirely company owned.

(Slightly) USED TRUCKS ADDED TO OUR FLEET
We have been fortunate to locate 6 x DAF Space Cab tractors with nominal mileage under their belt and in ‘as new’ condition.
These ’60’ registration, 6×2, 460 BHP trucks have been added to our fleet in the past few weeks.
Our commitment to adding new trucks to the fleet remains unchanged, although these trucks are a welcome quality addition to our fleet at this busy time.
MORE DAF XF EURO 6’s ENTER THE FLEET!
Our fleet remains largely DAF based and pushing the number of the DAF marque on the fleet to 35, we have just taken delivery of GN64 UHY and GN64 UHZ, both XF Superspace 460 6×2 tractors.
These tractors are again in the livery of our valued client, Mammoet Ferry Transport BV – a striking red and white!
SECOND MERCEDES ACTROS ENTERS FLEET
GU64 CZM, a Mercedes New Actros 2545 GigaSpace has just entered service with us.
This follows on from our seed vehicle GU14 GDY, a Mercedes New Actros 2545 BigSpace which we took under our wing on 1st May this year, which has performed marvellously.
A third Mercedes, another Gigaspace, follows in January 2015
